MARKBILT,
INC. was begun in 1974 by Mark
L. Woltin. With Newark, NJ as its base Markbilt was founded to serve a market need
for fine gauge spandex fabrics. From six circular knitting machines, Markbilt's
business has grown to require sixty-five machines, ranging from plain to full electronic
jacquards, all equipped to knit spandex. Fabrics Produced Include: plain and feed stripe jersey, plain and feed stripe interlock, plain and feed stripe rib, two and three color minijac type jacquards in flat and relief construction, and a full range of plain and fancy metallic fabrics. Fabric Content Includes: cotton, polyester, nylon, blends of cotton/spandex, poly/spandex, nylon/spandex, supported and unsupported metallics. Markbilt's commitment to it's customers' requirements, a continuing dedication to high quality standards and a determination to keep current with new and innovative knitting equipment, has been rewarded with a steady increase in business and a solid customer base. Markbilt offers to mills and converters, commission knitting, greige goods packages and finished goods packages at competitive wholesale prices. Also offered is state of the art design services including analysis of weft knitted fabrics, and conversion of graphical artwork to knitted graphs and electronic knitting medium. For twenty-four years Markbilt has been providing its customers with innovative design and construction plain and jacquard fabrics produced on mechanical and and full electronic singleknit and doubleknit/rib machines. |
